Environmental communication program seeks mentees, mentors

UntitledBudding and experienced environmental journalists can participate in this program.

Ensia, a nonprofit magazine that focuses on environmental challenges and solutions to a global audience, is accepting candidates for the Ensia Mentor Program.

The program offers aspiring environmental journalists an opportunity to build their communication skills and professional network by creating an article, video, image gallery, infographic or other work on a topic of their choice for Ensia under the guidance of an experienced communicator.

The original piece must be in English, but Ensia would be open to having the piece republished in another language if the writer wanted to translate it.

Mentees and mentors receive US$600 and US$400, respectively, per assignment.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
