International festival on cultural diversity open

Filmmakers from around the world can submit works to this international festival in Yerevan, Armenia.

The Yerevan International Film Festival Golden Apricot, organized with support from Armenia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is scheduled for July 8 to 15. The festival theme is “Crossroads of cultures and civilizations.”

The festival seeks films representing diverse ethnic groups, religions and nations.

The competition includes international feature and documentary films sections.

Competitive films must have been produced after July 1, 2017.

The winners will receive the trophies “Golden Apricot” and “Silver Apricot.”

The deadline is April 15.
