Webinar focuses on strategies for visual storytelling

1015-npf-web-logoJournalists are invited to tune in to a free webinar on visual storytelling.

The National Press Foundation hosts the hourlong webinar “How to use technology in visual storytelling” at 12 p.m. EDT Aug. 23.

The Washington Post journalists Samuel Granados and Kevin Schaul will talk about how their team created “The Waypoint,” an award-winning project about European refugees.

Participants will learn how to report from a technical perspective, how to organize assets (and hours of video) to tell the story, challenges of the design process, and building a user prototype to figure out what worked – and what didn’t.

Registration is ongoing.
